Spicy Tuna Rice Bowl

My Spicy Tuna Rice Bowl is fresh and very easy to make, but most importantly, it tastes amazing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can tuna in oil
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 small carrot, julienned or grated
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • pickled ginger, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to the package instructions.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the drained tuna, mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir until all ingredients are well combined and the tuna is evenly coated.
  3. Scoop the cooked rice into a bowl as the base layer. Neatly arrange the sliced avocado, diced cucumber, and julienned carrot over the rice.
  4. Spoon the spicy tuna mixture over the rice.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped spring onions and sesame seeds over the top of the spicy tuna.
  6. Add a small amount of pickled ginger on the side of the bowl and enjoy.
