  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add orzo and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 7-9 minutes.
  2. Preheat a griddle pan on a medium-high heat.
  3. Toss the courgette, yellow squash, red bell pepper, and asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Grill the vegetables, turning occasionally, until they are tender and have nice grill marks, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Once grilled, let them cool slightly and then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Add the grilled vegetables to the bowl with the orzo.
  7. Add lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped basil, and olive oil. Toss to combine everything thoroughly.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
