Garlic Butter Steak Bites

These Garlic Butter Steak Bites are a great meal for a Friday night treat.

Ingredients

  • 450g sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak cubes in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  4. Cook the steak bites for about 2 minutes on each side, depending on your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak bites from the pan and set them aside.
  5. In the same pan, reduce the heat to medium.
  6. Add the butter and let it melt.
  7. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  8. Return the cooked steak bites to the pan and toss them in the garlic butter until well-coated.
  9. Add the fresh thyme leaves and stir to combine.
  10. Transfer the garlic butter steak bites to a serving plate.
  11. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  12. Serve with a side of vegetables or a salad.
