Spicy Korean Chicken Wings

These Spicy Korean Chicken Wings are a fan favourite and so easy to create.

Ingredients

  • 450g chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 spring onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken wings and cook for about 4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium and pour the sauce over the chicken wings.
  4. Toss the wings in the sauce until they are evenly coated and the sauce is heated through, about 2 minutes.
  5. Transfer the spicy Korean chicken wings to a serving plate.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with chopped spring onions.
