Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients
- 340g fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
- In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce and toss the pasta in the sauce until well coated. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water.
- Serve with chopped fresh parsley.
