Creamy Garlic Tagliatelle
My Creamy Garlic Tagliatelle is a delicious comfort dish for a Friday evening, that’s super simple and super tasty.

Ingredients
- 200g tagliatelle
- 20g salted butter
- 5 garlic cloves, grated or finely chopped
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 150ml stock
- 100ml double cream
- 100g parmesan cheese, grated
- 20g flat-leaf parsley, roughly chopped
Instructions
- Add the pasta to boiling salt water and cook according to pack instructions.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan, then add the garlic and season with black pepper.
- Cook the garlic for a few minutes, then stir in the flour slowly until you have a paste.
- Add the stock to the paste and continue stirring. Stir in half of the parmesan and add the double cream to the sauce. Keep stirring until the sauce is smooth throughout.
- Add the pasta into the sauce with some of the cooking water and mix well.
- Serve up the pasta, sprinkling the remaining parmesan and some chopped parsley.
