Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup grated cabbage
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 pack of yakisoba noodles, pre-cooked
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, ketchup, and sugar. Set aside.
  2. Add sesame oil to a pan at a medium heat.
  3. Toss in garlic and onions, and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  4. Add carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp.
  5. Add the yakisoba noodles to the pan. Pour in ¼ cup water to loosen the noodles.
  6. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the noodles are heated through and fully separated.
  7. Pour the sauce over the noodles and vegetables. Toss everything together until well-coated and heated through.
  8. Sprinkle with spring onions and sesame seeds before serving.
