Ingredients
- 2 large flatbreads
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup marinara sauce or pizza sauce
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced or grated
- 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
- fresh basil leaves
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C.
- Brush both sides of the flatbreads lightly with olive oil.
- Spread an even layer of marinara sauce over the flatbread.
- Top with slices of fresh mozzarella and tomato.
- Sprinkle with dried oregano and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Place the flatbreads directly into the oven.
- Bake for 4-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the flatbread are golden brown.
- Remove the flatbreads from the oven and immediately scatter fresh basil leaves over the top.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Slice and serve hot!
